Club Tihany Hotel & Bungalow – Tihany

The 4-star club is a hotel and holiday village complex which lays on a 13 hectares area. It is located on the edge of the Tihany-peninsula which became a nature reserve in 1952.

The Hotel Club Tihany**** is a modern hotel, it has 330 well equipped rooms and apartments. Rooms: 78 superior double rooms with air conditioning, balcony and view on the lake Balaton; 222 standard double rooms with mountain view, from which 78 rooms can be extended with an extra bed into a triple room; 24 apartments with a big living room; 6 special-equipped apartments for the handycapped guests. Equipments of the rooms: doors with chipcard, minibar, 16-chanel hotel TV system, Pay TV, phone, Internet connection, in the bathrooms hairdryer, shower/bath tub.

The holiday village: The 320 wooden and stone houses with different sizes and locations are very comfortable both for families and bigger groups of friends.

• Bungalows: in the 160 bungalows there is a well equipped kitchen (fridge, electronic oven, toaster and coffeemaker, pots and tablewares), bathroom and living room, the chipcard lockers serve for their safety, there's TV, radio and phone in each house.

• Atrium houses: there are 95 atrium houses with air conditioning on this territory (each 61 m²), with 2 bedrooms (2 persons on twin beds, 2 persons on a double bed on the gallery) and a living room (with an extra bed for 1 person).

• Bor "A" house: the ten 45 m² sized houses with 2 rooms (bedroom + living room) are comfortable for 3 persons.

• Bor "B" house: in the eight 57 m² sized houses 5 persons can be accommodated: 2 x 2 persons in twin rooms + 1 person in the living room on extra bed.

• Kalmár house: the 47 Kalmár type bungalows are direct next to the forest, in a romantic natural environment, far from the everyday bustle. The intimate small wooden houses are 41 m² sized, and are comfortable for 3 persons: 2 persons in a twin bedroom + 1 person on an extra bed in the living room.

Wellness, therapy: On the territory of the holiday complex you can find the Club Tihany Therapy and Recreation Center. It includes a therapy pool, steam bath, different treatments, gymnastics, massage, parafango, swimming pool, sauna and fitness room. This thermal water is recommended for arthritis, spinal complaints, osteoporosis and rheumatical diseases. In order to complete these treatments our restaurant offers weight gainer and diet foods for the followers of a healthy lifestyle and for the ones willing to be cured. It has a private beach next to the lake Balaton with children pool, sunbeds and slide. The Beauty Salon spoils the guests with a wide range of services: cosmetics, pedicure, manicure, body massage, hairdresser, with Gigi, Phyris, Maria Galland products.
